Hi, I'm Tom, and I'm looking for someone nice to share my house. I'm more interested in the finding the right fit. I'd describe the vibe as very peaceful and friendly, so might suit a mature student or someone doing in later years of their course or MsD or PHD. Perhaps someone wanting a place for a year or two rather than to settle longer term. Given the recent massive hike in bills costs i am renting out my house as a way to make friends in my first year MMU
I am a first year student at Manchester met studying in sport department, my time is split between work, studying and participating in a range of sports, spending time with my partner in Liverpool. I like to think sociable and friendly and enjoy preparing and sharing food when time allows but am also quite independent. It would be nice to have someone who would similarly enjoy a bit of sharing without feeling obliged. It's important to me to keep a tidy ship so someone who is happy/enthusiastic about keeping things very clean and tidying up as they go would be a good fit.
I'm open to the idea of renting a room furnished or unfurnished and might also consider short term let with the right person.

I am still yet to buy the house as am trying to put out feelers because if necessary i will go into halls if I cant buy and rent out.
