Firstly, you must know that Bath is situated in Sommerset where one will generally encounter people singing about combine harvesters and drinking one too many ciders. If you are from Bath and have never seen or done either of those things please just go with it, they'll catch on. Bath is home to two universities, the University of Bath and Bath Spa University. Yes Spa, they went there. And as well as its beautiful Georgian architechture it also has all the mod cons and fittings of a shiney new city.

Although there is certianly nothing stopping you strategically placing a rubber duck above your door and delaring it so (landlords this was not my idea). Bath has plenty to offer from open-top bus tours to froth-topped pints, this national heritage site has something to suit everyone. For those of you who think you'll be there longer than it would take you to explore it all, fear not my little adventurers as Bristol is only 13 miles away and the exceptional transport links mean you can get there no problemo.

As well as its own student accomodation, Bristol too has lots to see and do but whethe you fancy that or not you have GOT TO check out the see no evil annual event in which graffiti artists take to the streets in the legal expression of street art.
