Home to such famous landmarks as the Royal Pavilion and Brighton Pier, two places students can go to relax and escape academic life, Brighton also has many beautiful beaches and shops to keep you busy on those hot summers days or when you just want to get out. The town is quiet, peaceful and a relaxing, in the day. At night Brighton truly comes alive, with bars and pubs to suit all tastes, from quiet and refined to loud and rowdy, students can find exactly what they are looking for. However, it is the clubs that really make this town stand out from its neighbors. Often referred to as the clubbing capital of the south, Brighton is host to an enormous amount of clubs, over 60 in-fact, just like with the bars and pubs students can will always be able to find a place that matches their individual style, from R&B to smooth jazz, you’ll be hard pushed not to find a place to spend your saturday night. But, you can’t go out drinking all the time can you? Well, I suppose you probably could but, if you’d rather get stuck into a society or club, the student union run a huge variety of activities like, a cheerleading squad, conservation groups, American football teams, gymnastics and many, many, more. Brighton really is a place where students get all the options put on the table, allowing them to explore and discover what they like, and what makes them unique.
