The University of Lincoln has its own student bar which can hold up to around 2,000 students. Expect cheap drinks and plenty of mayhem. Quite a bit of aviation goes on in Lincoln, including the famous RAF Waddington Air show, which is not to be missed. To get a feel for what this rural town was like in the 15th century, Tattershall Castle is a great place to spend a day wondering and learning about the local history as well as the medieval Bishops Palace and Lincoln Cathedral where graduation ceremonies are held.The Natural World Centre is the best place in Lincolnshire for viewing wildlife and nature may also be enjoyed in the Lincoln castle gardens which are often home to event all year round including the famous German Christmas markets in early December.
